I can't express how heartbroken I am right now. My cat, my best friend for the past seven years, is missing. She is my family and has been with me through the hardest times.
Kiki has been an indoor cat her whole life and escaped from a location she was not familiar with. She’s got four white socks and a pinkish nose. Kiki is vocal and loves to chat; she’s not declawed and has a playful spirit. She enjoys drinking water out of the faucet, chasing strings, and playing with pom-pom balls. Weighing around 9 pounds, she’s not just a pet; she’s my best friend for the past seven years.
Unfortunately, I had to go out of town for work, and the person I entrusted to watch my cat let her out and didn’t tell me for four days. I was misled into believing a pet detective was hired, but that turned out to be untrue. I flew down as fast as I could, but by that time, it had already been a week and a half since I got the whole story. I haven’t been able to sleep, and this has turned into a horrible nightmare that haunts me every day. She has been missing since July 31st.
I’ve searched the neighborhood, friends have joined the search, I’ve posted flyers with her picture and my contact information, shared her story on social media, and talked to everyone I meet and local businesses. I’ve posted on paid pet finder sites, I just can’t give up. I know that somewhere out there, she’s scared and probably wondering where I am.
I’ll keep looking, no matter how long it takes. I’ll keep reaching out to local shelters and rescue groups. There’s no timeline for this; I’m committed to finding her and bringing her home. If anyone has seen her or has any information, please let me know. Every little bit helps. I just want her back.
